Body-Mind Type Questionnaire – According to Ayurveda, there are three main categories, or Doshas, to describe our physical and mental selves – namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha.  Vata reflects the ether and air elements (tends to the qualities of cold and dry). Pitta reflects the fire and water elements (tends to be hot, sharp and slightly oily). Kapha reflects the water and earth elements (has qualities of dense, cold, moist, oily).  We each have all three doshas operating within us, but we tend to have one  that is more active.
