In this workshop, we’ll go over the fundamentals of Ayurvedic nutrition, including eating for your body-mind type, the importance of spices, and incorporating the six tastes (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, astringent and bitter) in every meal. Includes hands-on cooking demonstration, organic Ayurvedic dinner, information materials, and recipes!

This is a bi-monthly event starting in 2011, as a way to bring community together and to raise funds to support the Alliance for Greater Well-Being (offering yoga classes to underserved communities in Spokane).
This months Sangha and Supper will be led by meditation teacher Dori Langevin. The evening will commence with a short “dharma” talk followed by a 20 minute guided meditation. We will then enjoy a tasty organic vegetarian meal together.
