Ayurveda 101 Cooking Class (Sun., Jan. 9, 2011)

Ayurveda is India’s ancient science of healing, for which food is the ultimate medicine. In this workshop, we’ll go over the fundamentals of Ayurvedic nutrition, including eating for your body-mind type, the importance of spices, and incorporating the six tastes (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, astringent and bitter) in every meal. Includes hands-on cooking demonstration, organic Ayurvedic dinner, information materials, and recipes!
